The tool has no accounts, ads, analytics or cookies. What you enter stays in your browser.

What stays on your device

Your sounds, saved profiles and log, including any notes you write, are kept in your browser's storage on this device. Music files you choose are read on your device too. None of this is sent to us, and we can't see it.

The site tells your browser to block the tool from sending data anywhere, using a security rule called a Content Security Policy. You can check it in your browser's developer tools.

What the host can see

The site is hosted by Cloudflare. Like any web host, it handles the technical details of each visit, such as your IP address and which pages were requested. That can show that a device visited this site, but not anything you enter in the tool. See Cloudflare's privacy policy.

Looking after your data

• Shared devices: anyone using the same browser profile can open your log.
• Backup files: a backup contains your log and notes, so keep it somewhere private.
• Losing data: clearing your browser data erases everything, and some browsers clear stored data on their own. We can't restore it, so back up anything you want to keep.
• Web address changes: browsers tie saved data to the site's address. If this site ever moves, we'll post a notice first so you can back up and restore your data.
• Deleting your data: clear this site's data in your browser settings.

We'll see whatever you send, including your email address, and we'll only use it to reply. Please don't send medical details, because we can't give medical advice.
